Empire is a US-based sweepstakes sports-entertainment platform. Users participate in sports predictions using virtual currencies. Outcomes are determined by external sporting events, and prizes are awarded in accordance with official sweepstakes rules. No purchase is necessary to participate.
Players Make Predictions
Players make predictions on sporting-event outcomes using Gold Coins or Sweeps Cash. All sports-prediction lines are sourced from independent, third-party market-data providers reflecting consensus market pricing. Empire does not create, adjust, or profit from these lines.
Getting Started
Create an account and receive Gold Coins and a nominal Sweeps Cash sign-up bonus. Verify age and location before participating.
Obtaining Currency
Gold Coins via rewards, daily logins, or purchases. Sweeps Cash for free via AMOE or as bonuses with Gold Coin purchases.
Market Types
Moneyline, Spreads, Totals, Alt Spreads, Alt Totals, BTTS, Draw No Bet, 3-Way
Settlement
Correct predictions earn more currency. Gold Coin plays award Gold Coins; Sweeps Cash plays award Sweeps Cash.
Backers Provide Liquidity
Backers are users who provide liquidity by covering Player predictions. To qualify, a user must first meet the minimum cumulative gameplay threshold as a Player. Backers choose which sports categories to support and can use either Gold Coins or Sweeps Cash.
How Allocation Works
The platform's algorithm automatically and randomly allocates Player predictions across eligible Backers within their chosen sports categories. No Backer selects individual predictions — each participates in a randomized pool of diverse predictions.

Backers earn when Player predictions are incorrect. They may pause participation at any time — existing exposures settle normally, and unallocated funds remain available. Empire generates revenue from a fixed fee on Backer profits.
Empire Is the Safety Net
What happens when Backer funds aren't enough to cover a winning prediction? Empire steps in. As the platform operator, Empire maintains a reserve that covers the gap between Backer allocations and the actual payout owed.
If the projected payout exceeds 1% of total liquidity, that prediction is not accepted. Within accepted predictions, exposure is automatically divided across multiple Backers so that no single Backer exceeds the 1% limit. This means every accepted prediction is always fully honored.
